Description

Guigal’s Côtes du Rhône

Guigal Côtes du Rhône Rouge is a Southern-Rhône blend. The wine is blended at the famous Château d’Ampuis which is registered as a national historic monument.

The Guigal family are passionate about two grape varieties, Syrah for their red and Viognier for their whites and ensure this red Côtes du Rhône has a higher proportion of Syrah compared to other blends.

Guigal has been recognised and awarded for their work with both grapes, thus ensuring this wine is a benchmark of its category and perfectly illustrates the family’s ethos of supreme quality and excellence. Connoisseurs will enjoy its classic expression of the Syrah grape variety combined with the Grenache grape.

Tasting Notes:

Serve between 16°C – 18°C

On the palate, the wine is full and round with smooth tannins. This is a full-bodied, rich and intensely aromatic wine. This wine has a wonderfully long finish and plenty of elegance and finesse due to the well-balanced tannins and fruit.

Pairing Notes:

Pairs well with cold meats, red meat, game bird and cheese.
